Rare Albion is a factitious country, first described in the book of the same name: Rare Albion, The Further Adventures of the Wizard from Oz – A Monetary Allegory. Its hero is a person called Victor, who was (is?) the country’s first Monetary Policy Chairperson. This book comprises his musings on a wide range of topics pertinent to our times. They were first ‘serialised’ in Associate!, Journal of Associative Economics in the ten years from 2005, when Rare Albion was first ‘discovered’.
