Sketches in Sociology in link with Rudolf Steiner
The social sciences are something of a hybrid, attempting to base their investigations of a supremely non sense-perceptible world on the methods of the ‘hard’ sciences. Following the unfolding of his first academic career as a sociologist, they track the author’s journey at the start of what became a fifty-year period. The book touches on methodology, especially the science of the (physically) invisible, doing so in link with the work of Rudolf Steiner. But the author’s enquiry – which is on-going – has been an original and independent one, including consideration of the ideas of Karl Marx.
