Economics Revisited Towards a more Human Understanding of Economics
Publication: 2021
Price: £40.00
Whereas conventional economic history sees transactional behaviour as the driver of events, one can also understand exchange as the medium rather than the cause of human interactions, and economics as a description (albeit indirect) of human relationships, but one which if not clear becomes a veiling of them. Economics should therefore aim to resolve the chaos currently prevailing in human relationships and should not for that reason portray human beings as having to battle it out in a permanent struggle to survive and conquer. To this end, there is a great need for pictures of human existence that enable us to rise above our differences. These sketches are intended as a contribution to this need.
